Splitting PDF into pages
How to split a PDF into individual pages
-
1
Choose a PDF
Click Choose PDF or drag the file onto the page. It is loaded only in your browser.
-
2
Review the boundaries
A split is enabled before every page except the first. Remove a boundary if some pages should stay together.
-
3
Split PDF
The tool creates a separate PDF for every selected section without rasterising the page.
-
4
Download the result
Download the checked and sequentially numbered files in one ZIP archive.
How the files are named
Each filename includes the source name, a sequence number and the page number or range, so file managers sort the pages correctly.
When one page per file is useful
Separate pages are useful for invoices, payslips, certificates and scans that must be sent to different recipients or records.
If you need only a few pages, use Extract pages from PDF and select just those pages.
Text and file size
Every file carries the resources needed by its page, so all outputs together may be larger than the source PDF.
Selectable text remains selectable. A scanned page without OCR remains an image.
Privacy
All processing takes place in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server, and no data remains after you close the page.
