How to reorder PDF pages

  1. 1

    Choose a PDF

Click Choose PDF or drag the file onto the page. It is loaded only in your browser.

  2. 2

    Change the order

Move each page earlier or later with the arrows. Use Restore original order if you want to start again.

  3. 3

    Save page order

A new PDF is written in the order shown by the previews.

  4. 4

    Download the result

Download the result after page count, dimensions and selectable text have been checked.

What reordering changes

Only the sequence of pages changes. Printed page numbers remain as they were because they are part of the content on each page.

Fixing page order

Reordering helps with incorrectly scanned documents, misplaced appendices and PDFs assembled from several sources.

Move pages until the previews follow the intended reading order, then save a new copy.

Elements outside the page

Page content, dimensions and selectable text are copied without rasterisation or resampling.

Bookmarks, form fields, signatures and attachments are not carried over to the reorganized file.

Privacy

All processing takes place in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server, and no data remains after you close the page.

FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is processed locally in your browser, so the document and the generated files are not uploaded to a server.

Will the page quality change?

No. Page content is copied without being converted into images or resampled, so text, graphics and images keep their original appearance.

Will searchable text be preserved?

Yes, if the original PDF contains selectable text. A scan without an OCR text layer remains an image and does not become searchable.

Can I use a password-protected PDF?

An encrypted PDF must be unlocked first, even if it opens without asking for a password and only restricts printing or editing.

Is the tool free to use?

Yes. You can use it without registration or watermarks. Processing happens in the browser and the original file on your device remains unchanged.
