Converting PDF to JPG
Converting PDF to JPG is the quickest way to share a page where a PDF is not welcome: in a chat, on social media, in a slide or in a web form that only accepts images. Choose the PDF, pick the resolution and save one page, a few pages or the whole document as JPG pictures.

Choose the PDF
Click Choose PDF or drag the file onto the page. Its name, page count and size appear straight away.

Pick the resolution
96 DPI is enough for viewing on screen, 150 DPI for most uses and 300 DPI for printing or zooming in on detail.

Keep All pages, or choose Selected pages and type the numbers you need, for example 2 or 4-6.

Click Convert PDF to JPG. A single page downloads as one JPG file, several pages arrive in one ZIP archive.
Sending one PDF page as a picture
To send just one page, for example the signed last page of a contract or a ticket, choose Selected pages and enter its number. You get a single JPG that is ready to attach or paste into a message, with no ZIP to unpack. The file is named after the PDF with the page number added, so it is easy to find later.
Choosing the resolution for JPG
For a chat, an email or a website, 96 or 150 DPI keeps the files small. An A4 page at 150 DPI is about 1240 × 1754 px, which looks sharp on a phone screen. For printing or for pages with small print, choose 300 DPI, which gives about 2480 × 3508 px per A4 page.
A higher resolution means larger files and longer processing, especially for long documents. Pages over 16 million pixels, such as A3 at 300 DPI, cannot be saved at that resolution, so use 150 DPI for large formats. Every page is drawn on a white background.
When PNG is the better choice
JPG compresses images with a small loss that you will not notice in photos and scans, but you may see faint smudges around small text and thin lines. For tables, diagrams, plans and screenshots of documents, PDF to PNG keeps the edges crisp.
A JPG is a picture of the page, so its text and links cannot be selected or clicked. Password-protected PDFs need to be opened with Unlock PDF first. To get a separate PDF of a few pages instead of images, use Extract PDF pages.
Privacy
All processing takes place in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server, and no data remains after you close the page.
