Converting JPG to PDF
JPG is the format of almost every phone and camera photo, and of many scans too. Convert JPG to PDF when a form asks for PDF attachments, when you want to send a document you have photographed, or when several pictures should travel as one file. The photos are placed on the pages exactly as they are, so nothing gets blurrier along the way.

Why JPG photos keep their quality
Converting a photo usually means saving it as JPG once more, which softens fine detail a little every time. Here the original JPG data goes into the PDF unchanged and without resizing, so the photo in the PDF is pixel for pixel the one you took. The PDF is therefore about as large as all the photos together. Phone photos that are stored sideways with an orientation tag are turned upright automatically.
Turning a photographed document into a PDF
Lay the page on a plain, dark surface, photograph it from straight above in good light and crop away the table edges in your photo app. Then choose A4 or US Letter with Narrow margins: the whole photo fits on the page without cropping, and the result prints like an ordinary scan.
A photographed page is still a picture, so its text cannot be searched or copied. If an upload form has a strict size limit, use one of the size targets below the converter, such as JPG to PDF under 200 KB, or shrink the finished file with Compress PDF.
Several photos in one PDF
Add as many photos as you need: each one becomes a page, in the order of the list. Portrait and landscape shots can be mixed, because A4 and US Letter pages turn to landscape for landscape photos, and with Match image every page simply follows its photo.
Because the photos are not recompressed, a PDF made from twenty full-size phone photos can easily take tens of megabytes. For email, reduce it afterwards with Compress PDF. iPhone photos saved as HEIC belong in HEIC to PDF, and a mix of formats in Images to PDF.
Privacy
All processing takes place in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server, and no data remains after you close the page.
