How blank-page detection works
A page is treated as blank when it contains no text and only a very small number of dark pixels. Faint marks may affect detection, so always review the previews.
Why blank pages appear
Blank pages often come from duplex scanning, separator sheets or page breaks in the source document.
The automatic selection saves time, but the preview remains the final check before removal.
Scans and faint marks
Paper texture, shadows, punched holes and faint notes can make a visually blank scan look nonblank to software.
You can manually select missed pages or keep a page that the detector selected.
Privacy
All processing takes place in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server, and no data remains after you close the page.
