How to combine two PDFs
-
1
Choose the first file
Select the PDF that should appear first in the combined document.
-
2
Add the second file
Add the other PDF. The list shows the name, page count, and size of both files.
-
3
Check the order
The file at the top comes first. Use the arrows if you need to swap the two files.
-
4
Merge and download
The result is checked for page count, dimensions, and selectable text before download.
What is copied from both files
Text, images, vector graphics, and fonts are copied with the pages. Bookmarks, form fields, signatures, and attachments are not transferred to the new document.
Which file should come first
The pages follow the order of the files in the list: all pages from the first file, followed by all pages from the second.
To interleave individual pages, merge the files first and then use the Organize PDF Pages tool.
Files from different sources
You can combine a document exported from an editor with a photographed or scanned page. Each page keeps its own dimensions and rotation.
Unlock encrypted files before merging them. If a scan needs a consistent A4 layout, convert the source image before combining the documents.
Privacy
Both files remain in your browser while they are processed and are not uploaded to a server.
