Certificates for a whole class at once

No need to type a name on each certificate. One design and a list of names is enough.

    Open the Names tab and paste the names, one per line. You can also copy columns from Excel or upload an XLSX or CSV file.

    The second column is the place, the third the class. Contest themes fill in the place on their own, and you can add other columns to a text as a variable, such as {class}.

    Use the arrows below the certificate to check them one by one. If a name does not fit, the maker warns you.

    Download a single PDF with every certificate. Each one is on its own page, so you print them all in one go.

Printing tips

  • Use heavier paper or card stock, 160 to 250 g/m² (about 60 to 90 lb cover). Check what your printer can handle.

  • In the print settings, choose actual size or 100% scale, not fit to page.

  • You do not need borderless printing. The text sits far enough from the edge of the paper.

  • Save paper by picking Half Letter in the Themes tab and printing two certificates on one Letter sheet, then cut the sheet in half.

Do you have certificates of appreciation, completion and achievement?
Yes. The templates include certificates of appreciation for teachers and volunteers, a retirement certificate, a principal's award, a certificate of completion and several business certificates.

How do I make certificates for a whole class?
Paste a list of names in the Names tab or upload an Excel file. The maker creates one certificate per row and you download them all in one PDF.

Can I make an employee of the month certificate?
Yes. Pick the Employee of the month theme, type the name and the month, and add your company logo in the Elements tab.

Can I add a school logo or a signature?
Yes. Upload an image in the Elements tab, such as a logo, a photo or a scanned signature. Remove the white background of a signature or a stamp with one click.

Will the printed certificate look sharp?
Text and decorations are vector graphics in the PDF, so they stay sharp at any size. For your own images, the maker warns you when the resolution is too low for print.

Where are the names and images stored?
Only in your browser, nothing is sent to a server. Your work in progress is saved automatically, and you can also save the design to a file and open it later.

Can I use US Letter paper?
Yes. Letter is the default. You can also pick Half Letter and print two on one Letter sheet, or switch to A4 or A5 in the Themes tab.

Can I download the certificate as an image?
Yes. Choose PNG image in the menu next to the Download PDF button. It is handy for email or a message.
